The Analytics Leader for Talent Solutions & Alliances will leverage Equifax unique data and advanced analytics to drive growth and innovation within our Talent Solutions & Alliances portfolio of services. This position will be responsible for managing a small team of statisticians and data analysts in driving the design and development of a host of innovative customer-facing talent acquisition solutions. You will be executing on key analytical projects and initiatives and working with alliance partners to accelerate the growth of Equifax Workforce Solutions.
Key Deliverables:
• Cultivate a high-performance results-oriented team leveraging both direct reports and in-direct (shared) resources.
• Develop innovative talent (Pre-Employment Verification) solutions leveraging TheWorkNumber® and other Equifax data assets to deliver differentiated high-value products and solutions to our Employer Services and 3rd party talent screening customers.
• Generate profitable business growth through data-driven insight and innovation.
• Develop the 3 year strategic roadmap for the Talent Solutions and Alliances D&A team along with the associated program tracking and reporting mechanisms.
• Work effectively and cooperatively with customers, co-workers, vendors, and management to create new ideas for analytical offerings that better solve customer business problems.
• Insights Solutions Innovation – design innovative new solutions and lead the development of those solutions (Proof of Concept development, business case development, feasibility analysis, prototyping through delivery).
• Internal Business Development – work with Product Managers, Sales Consultants and Technology teams to drive new product ideas and ensure new solutions are implemented in an efficient manner
• Manage an effective R&D and innovation pipeline leveraging customer insight, disparate data sources, and advanced analytical techniques.
• Serve as a thought leader both within the organization and within the Talent Solutions markets we operate.
Who You Are (Requirements):
• An influential leader and internal consultant, highly effective collaboration skills, 7+ years of experience in corporate environments, 5+ years of broad experience in big data/analytics required. At least 5 years managing data scientists and business analysts.
• Experience in facilitating the development of strategy—and application of analytics as a driver for enabling business decisions.
• Strong academic background in mathematics, statistics, or relevant field, with a passion for data science and experience in managing data intensive projects. Deep understanding of statistical methods, algorithms, and data mining techniques and tools. Expertise in data management, analytics, modeling, and statistics with hands on experience in Python, SAS, R, Hadoop, SQL or other relevant packages
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to design algorithms, which may include data cleaning, data mining, data clustering and subsequent data visualization and analytics.
• Outstanding written and communication skills. Excellent executive presence and ability to create a story for an executive audience. Gifted at translating complex and new ideas into simple frameworks. Highly proficient in translating complex analytical concepts into relevant business concepts and for a non-analytical audience.
• Strong understanding of the HR industry, analytics, and compliance requirements. Ability to partner with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver on business needs and create new insights solutions
Qualifications:
• Advanced Degree in Business, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or other related discipline required.
