The Specialty Business CFO team prepares, delivers, and assists in the interpretation of the various profitability reports for all levels of Private Wealth (PWM) and International Wealth (IWM) management. The team serves as the primary point of contact in Finance for the PWM & IWM management network, ranging from individual office managers to senior home office leaders, providing transparency into profitability and growth through analysis and reporting.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Works with the CFO support team for the branch network, managing strategic and ad hoc data analytics for product areas and senior management
• Partner with the business to build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Extensive exposure to senior management, engaging in strategy development and tracking, and conducting update presentations to senior leaders
• Produce monthly reports and participate in monthly meetings sharing financial reviews for each business, researching variances and providing commentary
• Lead a team of professionals covering multiple businesses, developing and mentoring staff
• Manage projects associated with improving the reporting environment, and creating strategic solutions to expand operating capabilities
• Manage commentary on monthly data analytics reports, including metrics reporting, and delivering insight into expenses ongoing
Qualifications
Skills required (essential)
• A minimum of 10-15 years of experience is preferred
• Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Wealth Management business is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with various areas of corporate structure including senior management levels
• Strong analytical aptitude
• Self-starter with an ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge of proprietary software systems
• Ability to solve problems independently, with detailed research and analysis, and present results
• Preferred - existing knowledge of Business Objects (or any BI tools) and Hyperion Essbase
