SAP Security Analyst
Job Summary
Works as part of an engagement team to deliver high quality client service and deliverables regarding SAP Global Security. Collaborates closely with Managers, Directors, and Partners and is responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of data in addition to providing day-to-day support with operational duties; perform assessments, audits, and reviews of SAP end-user access to ensure appropriate security measures are in place and user access is appropriate and approved within Aflac’s SAP systems; provide direct support to the business and IT staff; supply expertise and assistance with projects and incidents on a global scale
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Supports SAP Global Security related technical functions for ECC, HCM, BPC, BI, BW, SCM, Self Service Portal redesigns with knowledge of GRC
Acts as Liaison, coordinating activities and resolving issues between Teams, Departments, Divisions, Agencies, Vendors, etc. in an attempt to maintain effective working relationships
Answers questions from other specialists regarding procedures, policies, instructions and resolution of more complex situations
Reports status and progress of work and causes of delays
Provides technical guidance on more complex issues as well as provides input to management on employees’ performance and training needs, and/or train team members as needed
Analyze work tickets and make recommendations for reducing ticket volumes or improving efficiency
Possesses and applies expert knowledge of SAP Global Security practices and procedures. Interprets and applies division and organizational policies and procedures. Recommends changes or enhancement’s to procedures or processes
Conduct global assessments and reviews
Manage access changes as well as determining level of expertise of the team members in dispersing of assignment’s as well as demonstrates proper work methods
Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field or at least three to five years of relevant technical work experience that has provided an understanding of security issues, software, and techniques across all existing computer platforms or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Knowledge & Skills
Available to work on-call shifts and adjust shifts to fit the job requirements as needed
Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills to interact effectively with internal and external customers
Ability in handling large projects, changes and enhancements
Experience in SOX Compliance and Audit activities
Proven team player with Team leadership skills
