The Systems Analyst (SA) is responsible for requirements, design, testing, implementation and helping to drive adoption of solutions. Solutions often include a software-systems development component and may also consist of process improvement, organizational change or strategic planning and policy development.
Essential functions for this role include:
• Partner with business and technology to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into technical requirements
• Analyze; document processes, data and systems design; and test program development, logic, process flows and specifications
• Full vendor management functions including selection, onboarding and on-going management
• Good issue and problem resolution
• Use iterative design and development techniques to communicate and document design (prototyping, modeling techniques such as unified modeling language, etc.)
• Utilize rigorous and disciplined project management planning and execution including defining goals and priorities, assigning tasks and monitoring work. The methodologies may differ based on the project and may include Agile, Waterfall, and/or a hybrid approach
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply:
• BA/BS or equivalent experience; PMP, Scrum Master, or Lean certification is a plus
• 3-5 years of experience
Minimum three years of experience in project/program management
• Demonstrated experience in in writing software requirements and test specifications (written and automated)
• Demonstrated strong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards
• Ideal candidate has programming experience
• Experience in financial services is required (record keeping, fund complex, RIA, wealth management or broker dealer)
• Excellent Visio and MS Office skills
• Experience with traditional project/program management practices such as estimation, budgeting, resource allocation, scope management, change management, risk management, escalation, etc.
• Ability to plan, manage and deliver multiple projects on time
• Good SQL skills
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycles (i.e., Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative, Lean)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience with automated testing and other forms of testing
