Summary
Individual contributor role that is responsible for providing marketing strategy and execution expertise in support of the Accelerate the Expansion growth strategy in investment regions. Co-located in the region, this individual will support the Regional Field Office (RFO) growth and execution goals by developing marketing plans, strategies and execution supported by the broader Integrated Marketing team. In addition this role will support the Integrated Marketing consulting team in development and execution of marketing strategies and tactics for those financial professionals that have entered into a service agreement with the goal of growing their practice. This role supports the recommended strategies, coordinates execution and measurement of results. This role is responsible for some level of strategic development, as well as, execution of tactics.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Partner with RFO leadership team to develop a marketing and execution plan based on their goals and objectives.
• Partner with Integrated Marketing and other Home Office teams to ensure those RFO strategies are executed and measured.
• Create and present updates on the progress of RFO marketing strategy and plans in conjunction with relevant teams to RFO and other leadership
• Support and execute detailed marketing plans for Thrivent Financial Professional or practices in service agreements with Integrated Marketing Consulting.
• Monitor results of practice level marketing strategies and plans, tweak as necessary to ensure the best possible results from our marketing efforts for practices in service agreements with Integrated Marketing Consulting
• Train Thrivent Financial Professionals and their staff in service agreements with Integrated Marketing Consulting on marketing best practices
• Facilitate marketing and advertising transactions with external partners on behalf of Financial Professionals in service agreements with Integrated Marketing Consulting, while staying within or below budget.
• Create and present updates and results for work/consults that are in process as well as for work/consults that have been completed leveraging data, analytics and other field/ consumer feedback.
• Uses vertical marketing expertise/experience to contribute to the execution of marketing plans that support the organizational brand, field marketing team or Credit Union strategies.
• May plan, create and/or produce content on social networking websites or interactive marketing related media.
• Develop trusted relationships with key internal/external stakeholders to collaborate and contribute to successful results for RFO and consulting practices/financial professionals including growth and increased member loyalty.
Required Job Qualifications
• 3-5 years marketing or related experience.
• College degree in marketing or related field; masters a plus but not required. Experience in a specialized area of marketing (direct marketing, e-marketing, communications, analytics, brand positioning, social networking media, etc.) and/or project/program management.
• Knowledge of financial services industry, fraternal benefit societies, or membership organizations a plus
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to execute successful marketing initiatives
• Demonstrates strong project management and collaboration skills
• Applies a development mindset that uses creativity and marketing expertise to develop new, more effective and more efficient marketing approaches.
