Overview of the Role
This Denver based role, will be responsible for providing end to end financial support to various departments (could include Investments and Support organizations). This person will serve as a partner to senior business leaders to drive resource planning and control and to facilitate effective forward looking business decision making with commercial insight to identify opportunities to create value.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develops business plans and forecasts on an annual, quarterly, and ad hoc basis
• Reviews, analyzes and reports monthly expenses to business leaders, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Creates and assesses profitability analyses on an ongoing and ad hoc basis using advanced modeling techniques; makes recommendations to business leaders on opportunities to drive financial success
• Works closely with business leaders to develop and analyze metrics to measure financial and operational performance
• Contributes to and helps develop management reporting for the North America Leadership team
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Prepares standard and customized financial reports on an ongoing and ad hoc basis
• Supports cross-functional special projects
• Proactively identifies and resolves problems that may be complex in nature
• Tracks and monitors merger related costs and synergies
• Supports broader FP&A and Business Finance team deliverables

Technical Skills and Qualifications
• Three to five years financial analysis experience required
• Investment Management industry experience a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent required
• MBA or post-graduate degree a plus

• Strong communication, interpersonal and client service skills
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and measures
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to accumulate, organize and assimilate large amounts of data
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively and to quickly shift priorities when necessary
• Ability to work and make decisions independently
• Advanced computer skills, emphasizing MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Enterprise Resource Planning systems (SAP)
Ongoing competence in the role to be assessed by:
• Annual Performance Appraisal
• Completion of all assigned Compliance training
Working Environment/Physical Activities
• Extended hours may be required on short notice and may include evening, weekend, and holiday hours
