The Financial Crimes Technology (FCT) is a dynamic and fast-paced global group within the Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Governance Technology (LCG) organization. We are responsible for implementing state-of-the-art technology solutions for the firm Global Financial Crimes division which manages the Firm's Anti Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions/PEP & Adverse News Screenings, Know your Customer (KYC), Anti-Bribery & Corruption programs. Financial Crimes Technology (FCT) has global presence supporting the Firm line of business (Wealth Management, Institutional Banking & Capital Markets, Sales and Trading, and Investment Management). Our technology stack includes broad variety of proprietary and in-house developed solutions as well vendor products
We would like to hire hands on technical lead that will be responsible for implementing for leading the implementation of analytics and metrics platform for FCT. The new platform will be providing advanced analytics capabilities, dashboards, and metrics for all FCT programs. Candidate will work closely with subject matter experts, product owners, developers, architecture teams, strats, and operations to define and develop an industry leading solutions using new technologies utilizing third party tools and/or in-house development. Activities will include supporting existing solutions in this space. Candidate should have led the implementation of multiple medium to large scale global projects and development teams with proven track of successful delivery. Domain expertise of financial crimes technologies is preferred
Responsibilities will include:
• Define and lead the implementation of the analytics and metrics platform for the financial crimes department utilizing consistent approach and tooling for analytics, reporting, dashboards, and data visualization with self-service capability
• Design and drive execution on strategic technology solutions. Partner with other technology teams and architecture teams across the organization on current and future state architecture
• Partner with clients to understand the analytical products being leveraged and identify opportunities to re-design using firm approved open-source big data technologies.
• Manages development teams across functions and geographies, removes barriers and fosters an environment that enables others to deliver results. Coaches team members to maximize their performance and potential
• Hands-on development working alongside the team. Activities include designing, implementing, testing, deploying applications following department SDLC standards
• Drives a culture of innovation to ensure success. Generates innovative ideas and world class solutions that enable competitive advantage
• Leverage DevOps to automate application testing and deployments
Qualifications
Required Skills
• 10 years of hands on experience designing and implementing java based or business intelligence reporting applications.
• 5+ years in tech lead/ architecture role delivering high-quality software architecture
• Experience in reporting and analytics tools such Qlikview, Tableau, Python, and Angular with user ease of usability focus
• Experience in relational databases such as Sybase and DB2. Exposure to non-structure databases (i.e.Hbase, MongoDB, KDB). Strong Database design skills including SQL, procedures and query tuning
• Experience in and design methodologies and patterns, such as SOA, Layered Architecture, and Component-based Architecture.
• Experience in Big Data (Hadoop) ecosystem: Spark, Scala, HIVE, Sqoop etc.
• Experience in Java and open source technologies, such as Spring, Hibernate and Apache and Restful/Web Services, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON.
• Well versed with agile methodologies including Scrum, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in its development processes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professional approach
Desired Skills
• Financial domain knowledge, understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Transaction Monitoring, Sanction Screening, Know your Customer
• Exposure to Machine Learning, Artificial intelligence and RPA tools (i.e. Blue Prism, Pega Robotics, Work fusion)
• Drools Business Rule Engine
• Design Patterns, Distributed caching and Cloud technology is a plus
• Linux and Shell Scripts or any other scripting languages
• Risk or predictive analytics tools. Experience in Python, R
