Profile Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic individual with a financial analysis and technology background to help implement and operationalize a next-gen financial technology platform. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of financial and technical savvy, a big-picture vision and ability to execute on that vision. This role involves close collaboration and partnership with Finance, Business and Technology professionals at all levels within the organization.
This role will be a member of the Enterprise Cost Management Organization, serving as a key subject matter expert in the design, testing and implementation of next-generation financial systems and process improvements. The ideal candidate will be able to provide subject matter expertise in Oracle PCMCS and EPBCS, with a strong financial reporting and allocation background.
Profile Responsibilities
• Translate executive vision into technical requirements and build that information into a working set of operational and financial models, dashboards, and management reports.
• Work with the project team to gather requirements on development needs that are in line with the enterprise-wide financial system strategy, embracing new technology that will empower users to be as efficient as possible
• Partner with extended project team to develop out business process documentation, including process flows, data mapping, controls and owner/organizational alignment diagrams and models.
• Consulting on continuous improvement activities to ensure end to end system, financial reporting/analysis and process excellence.
Knowledge & Experience
• BA/BS in Finance/Accounting/Information Technology
• Knowledge of financial management processes and best practices such as budgeting, cost allocations and expense management
• Expertise/Strong Proficiency with configuration and setups for Oracle Financial modules, including PCMCS, ITFM and EPBCS.
• Proven analytical ability and strong proficiency in Excel and/or Tableau.
• Capability to validate and accurately explain results of analysis.
• Ability to interpret relevant data and information
• Shares technical expertise with others. Recommends process improvements.
• Provides functional advice or training to less experienced financial analyst’s jobs. Participates along with other senior analysts and managers in advanced problem solving and complex analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to lead and be a resource for other team members to go to.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks at once and still meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with other departments and customers.
