The Role
As an Internal Wholesaler, you are responsible for making daily calls to your territory with the goal of increasing sales through partnership with your external wholesaler.
Responsibilities
• Sales and Service
• Fields inbound calls from our advisors/partners regarding product questions
• Runs product illustrations
• Attends client conference calls
• Proactively prospects for new business
• Plans and executes active marketing campaigns within your territory
• Partners with external wholesaler to develop business plans designed to increase territory sales
• Coordinates with external wholesaler on sales ideas, sales activities and minor administration tasks
• Resolves service and other business related issues
• Adhere to LFD’s Culture of Compliance; comply with LFD’s policies and procedures
Education
• Undergraduate degree or 4+ years of comparable work experience required
• FINRA Series 6 or 7, Series 63 or 66 and Resident insurance licenses required
Experience
• 1-3+ years of experience in Financial Services Sales that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position
• Education, experience and/or proficiency in Sales, Customer Service, Financial Services required
• A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding performance expectations
• Possesses a bias for action and avoids workplace distractions
• Drives performance targets to completion
