The Engineering Team

The Role
The Technical Operations Analyst provides technical and strategic support for the development and management of tools, technologies, processes, and strategies that support the management and optimization of Arity’s engineering assets. This includes knowledge and understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies to review and assure compliance. Individuals in this position will liaison with other organizations to consult, assess, provide advanced statistical analysis, escalate, and report on compliance related data. This role will ensure there is full transparency between the Engineering Department and the Operational Excellence team by sharing work product produced as a result of assessing the effectiveness of controls, policies, procedures and practices.
Responsibilities
• Help define, develop, deploy, and maintain operational metrics for Arity Engineering.
• Conduct business impact and/or risk assessment analysis and assist with recommendations and/or mitigation strategies to management.
• Review of routine changes in company processes, standards and technology to ensure the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
• Assist with isolating, describing and resolving both real and potential threats that affect Arity's assets.
• Develop and implement systems and business control procedures, programs and plans for key areas of the company.
• Plan and monitor systems and business exercising and testing for controls and compliance.
• Contribute to developing, implementing and administering standards and procedures to secure and protect Arity assets.
• Assist in coordinating and communicating between the business and technology areas for general requests associated with standards and governing policies and procedures.
• Assist in the administration, maintenance, development and/or implementation of technology solutions, plans, policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Possess fundamental business knowledge and understanding of key roles within the department and Arity.
• Understand Arity’s strategic direction, policies, processes and procedures, business objectives, products and services, and core business drivers.
• Experience working directly with clients in problem definition through implementation.
• Experience bridging the gap between the business need and the consulting tasks through communication, professionalism, knowledge and service.
• Skillful at seeking out and finding all information that is relevant to a project.
• Has a clear understanding of project management including planning, communication, leadership, and project integration.
• Assure that client deliverables are correct, within budget and timely.
• Demonstrate risk management of moderate difficulty for a small functional area.
• Has detailed knowledge of the functionality of security systems and understands how they work and interface with data, applications and systems.
• College Degree or equivalent work experience; 1-2 years’ work experience in security or technology risk management.
