The Mutual Fund Product Management & Investment Analytics team at PGIM Investments, PGIM’s proprietary mutual funds and separate accounts business, has a opening for an Investment Specialist. This position will deliver proactive and reactive product content, competitive analysis, and research to assist Sales and Marketing in effectively positioning PGIM’s funds within various distribution channels to increase sales and market share.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Support the coordination, preparation, and timely delivery of reports and investment analytics.
• Running Morningstar Hypothetical Illustrations and Profile Reports
• Supporting the Investment Analysts with ad-hoc projects
• Helping to Update Quarter End Deliverables
Qualifications
• Understanding of financial markets, investment concepts, and Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT) statistics.
• Must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and complete projects on a timely basis.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; robust foundation in excel formulas, macros, as well as integrating dynamic links from databases is vital.
• Desire to learn about various mutual fund managers, investment strategies, and asset classes.
• Ability to learn investment analytical tools such as Morningstar Advisor Workstation, Morningstar Direct, MPI Stylus, Factset, and SimFund.
• Detail oriented team player with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a wide range of internal business partners.
• Highly motivated, flexible, and have the ability to work successfully in a fast paced, results oriented team environment.
• Basic understanding of business intelligence systems, such as Cognos Analytics, Tableau, or Domo.
• FINRA Series 7 License or ability to get license within 120 days.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
