General Summary
The Sales Manager primary job function is to originate loans and assist with branch loan Originator recruiting and hiring efforts. The sales manager job functions may include but are not limited to supervision, mentoring, and oversight of loan originators while promoting mortgage loan products and building relationships. Independent decisions are made on a frequent basis.
Requirements
• Participates in formulating and administrating the branches production and recruitment programs.
• Key member in selecting successful candidates.
• The development of long range goals and objectives in conjunction with Branch goals set forth by the Branch Manager.
• Recruitment, supervision and mentoring of Loan Originators
• Carries out sales strategy to meet regional expectations as determined by the Branch Manager.
• Directs assigned sales force, and ensures performance goals are met per the quality standard of the corporation..
• Provides strong communication and support to underwriting, loan originators and customers to clear stipulations as needed.
• Solicits, enters data and reviews loans files
• Orders credit reports, appraisals, flood certification and title work.
• Creates and maintains loan files
• Ensures regulatory compliance
• Processes approval and denial letters
• Maintains status of all loan files in process as needed; keeps abreast of all FHA, VA, and conventional guidelines and changes that may affect loan status.
• Completes all required paperwork and form in a timely and accurate manner

• Provide additional branch administrative functions as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Four to six years related experience
Demonstrated proficiency in management/motivation of employees
Commitment to high standards and adherence to company policy
Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage priorities and workflow
Proven leadership skills
Ability to make timely and sound decisions
Creative, flexible and a team player
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person/phone
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Light office demands as well as ability to lift 25 pounds during course of business
Traditional office environment with lengths of time sitting, standing, computer screen viewing and keyboard operation during the work day.
