THE OPPORTUNITY:
Responsible for supporting the successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of Hub International’s Pacific Region Health and Performance model. Under the direction of the Regional Health and Performance Manager, the Junior Consultant will aid in client consultation including the development of multi-year wellness strategies, client goal guidance & development, client data evaluation, wellness program compliance knowledge & guidance, incentive strategy development, and will have intimate knowledge & be able to provide recommendation(s) on appropriate carrier and vendor solutions. This role will encompass both project management and project support responsibilities.
Performance Objectives:
• Work with account team and client to apply Hub’s Health & Performance model with programs that align with the client’s business and benefit strategy, objectives, and budget
• Assists in the aggregation and evaluation of relevant client data aids in the creation of presentations
• Assist with the development of relevant processes and materials to better serve our clients and account teams
• Liaise between departments to move projects forward
• Creates programs, tools and resources for inclusion in proprietary resource portal, Choosewell Online
• Acts as the regional super user for Choosewell Online; trains local super users and triages issues
Interpersonal Skills:
• Manage account team and client’s expectations and raise appropriate issues to the Manager
• Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
• Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
Industry Knowledge:
• Understands & applies as appropriate HUB turn-key wellbeing solutions and best practices
• Stays current with wellness legalities and understands implications for wellness programming
• Stays abreast of wellbeing trends and emerging vendors; helps to identify areas / vendors for further research and evaluation
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
You are perfect for this opportunity if you:
• BA/BS degree from accredited college or university. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in corporate wellness or wellness program management.
• Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make action-oriented recommendations based on data.
• Strong ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects while maintaining deadlines
• Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Power Point. Knowledge and prior use of WordPress is preferred.
Other Requirements:
• CHES and/or National Institute of Wellness certification a plus
• Experience in employee benefits is a plus
