Description
Develop source code that meets business requirements and team standards. Participate in unit test case development. Develop complex test scripts and conduct impact analysis for proposed software solutions. Develop component design for software applications. Develop system and application architecture. Develop production support documentation. Interact with customers and development team to gather and define software requirements. Work within project teams on iterative development that delivers a high quality product. Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression). Analyze user stories for validity and feasibility. Provide functional and system integration testing support. Perform Quality Assurance coding and design review and identify and resolve defects or discrepancies in requirements with appropriate partners and stakeholders. Participate in the development of Build and Deployment guide and script.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, PLUS five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related technical occupation. The position requires three (3) years of experience with each of the following: design and development of architectures and technical standards for software applications; working with layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs; Agile software development; application of customer requirements including drawing out unforeseen implications and making recommendations for design and understanding potential impacts of design requirements; backlog tracking, burndown metrics and incremental delivery; experienced in the Service side tools including NodeJS (ExpressJS), Java (Spring, Hibernate), including front-end development tools such as HTML5 (ReactJS, Jquery), CSS, SASS, and Database tools like MongoDB, IBM DB2, etc.; experience in integrated development environments including WebStorm, Visual Stuio Code, Eclipse; usage of monitoring tools like such as Splunk or Dynatrace; experience using Cloud Platforms including Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure; knowledge and experience using testing frameworks such as Jasmine, WebriverIO, WebDriverCSS; and experience using Agile Development Methodology and feature tracking tools like JIRA.
