Kearney has an exciting new opportunity in Dayton, Ohio for a Senior System Support Data Analyst. The Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) System Support Data Analyst is responsible for providing the System Support Team data analysis to ensure the successful production support of the Oracle ERP technology. The candidate will demonstrate solid technical and functional end-to-end Oracle E-Business Suite experience. The DEAMS System Support Data Analyst will employ a variety of tools, such as Audit Command Language (ACL), UNIX shell scripting and SQL, to provide the DEAMS Operation Center (DOC) and System Support Team with functional analysis to more efficiently and effectively fulfill mission requirements. Potential candidates must have in-depth experience in Oracle Federal Financials and Department of Defense Financial Management. The successful candidate will interact with representatives from the DEAMS Program Management Office (PMO) and Functional Management Office (FMO) in support of post-production operations of DEAMS. The candidate will perform detailed analysis of Concurrent Manager Errors and System Oriented Architecture (SOA) Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) faults and/or internal errors and then document the process and train team members on how to perform each approach. Other responsibilities may include:
Responsibilities
• Developing analytical strategies to optimize DEAMS system support methods and processes
• Performing inbound and outbound interface data collection and analysis through available tools (APEX, ACL, and UNIX shell scripting)
• Analyzing/Interpreting DEAMS data issues and recommending corrective or preventative actions
• Performing research and analysis using all available tools to determine reasons for interfaces not functioning as intended
• Researching trouble tickets to determine course of action - explain, resolve, coordinate and transfer to the appropriate FMO team, or send to triage for system integrator (SI) resolution
• Ability to understand issue and analyze root cause through direct customer interaction; brings expertise in Oracle based solution to resolve complex issues and cross functional issues; and communicates with clients effectively in order to resolve customer issues
• Providing analysis and problem resolution for fixes to reported problems
• Reviewing functional and technical interface design documents
• Conducting in-depth analysis of Serena Help Desk Tickets and, when possible, resolving the tickets or recommending elevation to the appropriate level
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of functional experience, otherwise if no degree, 8 years of functional experience
• Experience with Oracle e-Business Suite (eBS) 11i and R12
• Working knowledge of Audit Command Language
• Knowledge of Air Force legacy systems such as the Automated Business Services System (ABSS), Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS), Automated Funds Management (AFM), Civilian Pay Accounting Interface System (CPAIS), Central Procurement Accounting System (CPAS), Commanders’ Resource Integration System (CRIS), Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS), General Accounting and Finance System Base Level (GAFS-BL), General Accounting and Finance System Re-Engineered (GAFS-R), Integrated Accounts Payable System (IAPS), Job Order Cost Accounting System II (JOCAS II), Standard Base Supply System (SBSS), Standard Materiel Accounting System (SMAS), and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF)
• Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance (requires US Citizenship)
• Must be willing and able to travel as required
