JLL is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager in Las Vegas, NV to assist in the delivery of services to operate and maintain the property including customer/client services, financial management, facility maintenance, and procurement and supplier management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Work with the Facility Manager and Regional Facilities Manager to oversee the delivery of maintenance and repair services.
• Ensure client satisfaction with the delivery of Facility Management services, and provide a lead role in monitoring and increasing customer satisfaction.
• Assist in the development and management of budgets and develop monthly/quarterly variance reporting on all operating budgets for each property on a timely basis.
• Support the Regional Manager in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the client.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the annual management plan.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of Capital Projects.
• Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client.
• Maximize utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors and the level of spending with Minority/Women owned Business Enterprises. Coordinate discussions with vendors or suppliers regarding goal setting, performance criteria and performance review. Manage the maintenance of existing contracts.
• Demonstrate strong collaboration and teamwork within service lines to coordinate and complete small projects.
• Insure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle minimum audit and compliance standards in facility management, financial management and operational policies and procedures.
• Meet or exceed site Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) to identify potential changes and plan corrective actions accordingly.
• Enforce all Company policies and training requirements regarding safe and efficient operations and work practices.
• Implement and monitor hazard control and team safety practices, ensure compliance with local codes and regulations and Jones Lang LaSalle operations standards
• Demonstrate strong collaboration and teamwork within the account team, by including driving the development and implementation of IFM best practices and innovations
• Support work order management for in house staff and vendors as necessary.
• Support facility soft services as needed and directed such as: meetings preparation, conference room reservations, food services, parking, vending, and badging
• This position will require some travel as the Las Vegas location oversees CA and WA client sites.
• Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
Qualifications
• Minimum of two years of industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant.
• Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting and building systems helpful.
• Strong organizational and management skills.
• Excellent customer, computer, managerial, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and effectively organize responsibilities to achieve portfolio goals and objectives.
• Basic knowledge of building systems (mechanical and electrical systems).
• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management or Property Management preferred.
