CUNA Mutual Group is looking for a Financial Advisor Assistant to join a financial advising program located within Merck Employees Federal Credit Union.
Job Responsibilities
Administrative:
• Manage calendar for advisor, including scheduling and confirming appointments
• Provide ongoing communications with existing clients by phone, email, and direct mail; process incoming mail
• Establish weekly priorities with Financial Advisor
• Manage multiple email accounts
• Maintain accurate and compliant records, including tracking and documentation in the Contact Management System (Salesforce)
• Coordinate meetings; attend and participate in monthly, quarterly, and district meetings
• Prepare and process paperwork, orders, and payments; maintain compliance log
Build and Maintain Relationships:
• Build and maintain relationships with Financial Advisor
• Build and maintain relationships with credit union members and staff
• Attend branch meetings, participate in branch activities and events
• Represent CUNA Mutual Group in a professional manner to the credit union and members
Marketing Support:
• Market the financial advising program to credit union employees and members through participation in Family Security Credit Union events
• Acquire compliance approval for all marketing efforts
• In collaboration with assigned advisors, provide organization, coordination, support, and event planning for seminars, client appreciation events, webinars, lobby days, etc.
Job Requirements
• Ability to build relationships, work well within a team environment, as well as work independently
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external customers, and agencies, via telephone, in person, and in writing
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to be highly accurate
• Strong computer/software skills, including previous experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, web/teleconference software, and preferably Contact Management Systems (such as Salesforce)
