Job Description:
The Production Designer is responsible for the physical development of brand focused creative assets approved and created by designers and copywriters.
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare final assets according to specific production guidelines at high levels of accuracy, efficiency and replication
• Create production-ready files, by applying expertise in print and digital production
• Collaborates closely with in-house design, communications, digital media and client development teams, as well as with external agencies
• Responsible for all stages of digital media production including post-production and publishing campaigns
• Be an expert at the file release process and prepare production ready files with accuracy, efficiency, and an incredible eye for detail. Set up spec sheets, layers, and packaged files. Work with quality control vendor to ensure file releases are flawless
• Manage time and produce consistently error free files for multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Effectively disseminate business feedback and legal changes. Incorporate changes into creative, while complying with company/department requirements, policies, and procedures
• Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes
Required Skills/ Experience:
• Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of production design experience
• Print and digital experience preferred
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, all mediums: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
• Familiar with HTML5
• WorkFront project management experience a plus
