Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis-2
Overview
• Responsible for budgeting and forecasting short/long-term plans, as well as preparing and analyzing internal and external financial reports
• Activities include managing risks and opportunities, monitoring the organization's expenses while considering macro-economic factors
• Engage with business partners and regularly interact with senior management to build relationships in order to effectively manage business unit financials.
• Coordinate O&T divisional budget and quarterly forecasts with analysts to achieve targets.
• Provide divisional financial reporting, identify financial risks & opportunities, and provide guidance to achieve financial targets for assigned division(s).
• Consolidate and present O&T financials to senior finance management including coordinating and analyzing budget, forecast, plan, FTEs and cost allocations.
• Support monthly and quarterly internal and corporate reporting deliverables including operating reviews.
• Liaison with Financial Systems and departmental Hyperion SME (subject matter expert) for the expense, management reporting, strategy and workforce planning modules.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and make significant contribution as part of project teams to support implementation of process improvements and other ad hoc initiatives.
Role:
• Support and/or lead special projects and ad-hoc reporting as applicable.
• Financial planning and analysis experience with progressively increasing responsibility
• Able to influence and drive effective decision making
• Must be comfortable working with ambiguous processes in a fluid environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact, communicate and navigate effectively within executive O&T and Finance management
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work with multi-faceted issues
• Ability to perform successfully in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and manage multiple priorities and assignments concurrently
All About You:
Background in IT financial management and accounting considered beneficial
•Must be highly proficient using MS suite of products Excel/Office/PowerPoint and Hyperion
•Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent combination of education and work experience in a financial analysis role
•Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) or professional certification (CMA, CPA) a plus
