SUMMARY
The Quality Control and Risk Specialist, in alignment with the priorities of Network Payments group, and documented controls implemented in consult with ERM, Compliance, BSA/AML, Operations and IT, works within the Network Payments team to ensure the operations and risk management controls being provided by the department are in line with the stated goals and requirements committed to by management as well as adequately aligned with the control activities in place across the organization. The incumbent assists with monitoring key processes and control activities conducted across the department as well as efforts to address issues or implement improvements. This oversight will focus on the areas of BIN Sponsorship and product management.
A key part of the role is to participate in testing activities in support of organizational priorities, areas of regulatory focus, and/or identified areas of concern. Also important, is assisting with ongoing communication and preparation of materials on upcoming efforts (exams, assessments, due dates, etc.) directly impacting one or more the Network Payment areas.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages and participates in the Quality Control program which includes testing, reviews and monitoring within the business (preventative controls/activities vs detective).
• Develops and maintains knowledge of key operational areas within the Network Payments Division.
• Help contribute to managing policies, oversight processes, and procedures and makes recommendations for changes to ensure they are aligned with current practices and control related activities.
• Participates in communication efforts within the Network Payments areas and to internal partners.
• Assists with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Understands and complies with all Bank policies and procedures, and federal and state laws and regulations pertinent to this position; stays informed and shares updates on changes with management. Required to successfully complete all required Compliance training.
• Continuously supports the Bank’s Mission Statement and Core Values.

Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree and 0 to 3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related experience includes an emphasis on internal controls, testing, risk management and/or compliance with particular emphasis on Compliance, Operations and Oversight.
