Within a normal office environment, the regular 8-hour workday involves interactive discussions with individual or teams an use of email and telephone correspondence to contract and work with customers. Employee will initiate project conversations to effect project results, with a mind to serve the clients customers, maintaining and enhancing the reputation of Fundtech. The work of the position also requires being exact or highly accurate in coordinating with others in accomplishing work activities, and in working with external customers. Some travel to customers sites may be involves (once or twice a quarter)
Responsibilities:
• Partner with Systems Integrator Team and interface directly with the customer base to implement hardware and software as needed for the US Payments banking application as it relates to Wires
• Conduct project calls and coordination for existing customers
• Advise clients on possible setup and uses with Fundtech’s payment systems
• Use Interpersonal communication techniques to contact and build relationships with current customers
• Obtain information from individuals as needed to understand the capabilities of the product
• Use knowledge of written communication in project work
• Advise clients or customers of product facts and new developments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation on behalf of all projects: Agenda, Minutes, Issues Lists and Requirement documentation as needed
• Act as ‘Product Specialist’ on behalf of the application being installed. Work hands-on with the application to assist with understanding and troubling-shooting customer issues and questions
• Be able to provide some training and explanation to customers on focused topics related to the application
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5-10 years combined Project Management and Business Analyst experience
• 2-5 years of Banking or Financial Industry experience preferred, but not required
• A self-motivated and hardworking individual who is goal oriented, able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to multi-task and manage changing priorities to meet demands of internal and external customers
• Demonstrate ability to contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork through collaborative behavior and open communications
• Experience of interfacing at all levels from senior management to junior staff.
• Experience of working with customer at a senior level
• Excellent analytical, communication (Verbal and writing) skills: process-oriented
• A ‘quick-starter’ when it comes to learning new application as a business user. Likes being’ hands-on’.
• Ability to understand and liaise between business and technical audiences
Skills Preferred:
• Experience with the Microsoft Suite of applications, especially Excel, required
• Experience with MS Project, preferably MS Project Server required
• Experience with Oracle ERP, or similar billing entry systems desired
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system desired
• Experience with banking applications, preferably with Wires, desired
• Mathematics: Knowledge of general math functions in relation to financial calculations
