Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
One to two years of experience in an electronic banking and or deposit operations department preferred.
Job Description
SUMMARY:
Perform various operational support duties relating to the ACH, and Wire Transfer functions. Performs a variety of routine daily tasks: processes ACH files/transaction; processes wire transfer requests; reviews reports; performs account reconciliation duties; provides assistance via telephone or email in response to customer or banking center inquiry; processes data entry information through various task related electronic systems; and performs other clerical duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Ability to use a personal computer with knowledge/ability to learn Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel and internet. Ability to learn electronic banking systems.
Provides customer service via phone, mail, and email.
Reviews and processes transfer requests, maintenance, research, and customer or banking center initiated requests through various payment processing systems.
Performs various reconcilement, settlement and balancing processes within the bank's electronic payments function.
Performs clerical duties associated with compliance requirements.
Ability to perform general clerical duties and operate various departmental equipment, file, answer phones, take messages, and handle detail work.
Understands basic accounting/bookkeeping principles, can prepare general ledger entries and can prepare debit/credit entries to deposit accounts.
Ability to analyze transactional risk and reasonableness in accordance with bank guidelines.
May from time-to-time be assigned other job duties and or responsibilities with or without prior notice.
Ability to type with speed and accuracy.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
