Job TitleProgram Manager, Advisory
What does a great Program Manager, Advisory do?
• Manages strategic projects and/or programs as assigned according to established processes.
• Mentors Project Management team members on job responsibilities.
• Reinforces established project management processes.
• Handles project issue escalations related to individual projects being managed by their team of Project Managers.
• Interviews prospective team members and provides input to the Program Director.
• Responsible for management oversight of a portfolio of implementation projects
• Decision Making / Problem Solving:
• Decision-making and problem solving may affect multiple departments or functional areas.
• Solves diverse problems using solid analytical skills where limited precedents or guidelines exist.
• Responsible for the development and use of resources that affect multiple departments and/or functional area
Basic qualifications for consideration:
• Requires 7 years formal project management experience combined with experience supervising others.
• Education: BS or MS in Business or Computer Science; completion of formal project management course of study or PMP certification
