This is an exciting position that requires a well-balanced and talented professional to drive measurable outcomes in real estate services for a growing high-tech client. Attractive candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to: communicate both internally and externally at all levels of the organization; think big-picture and strategically drive spend reductions, quality enhancements, and service level improvements; provide responsive support to large complex, distributed field operations team; be proactive and leverage analytical strengths to continuously evolve supply chain performance.
Responsibilities
• Establish productive working relationships with internal & external leadership to ensure strategic alignment & prioritization of sourcing contribution
• Collaborate & interface regularly with internal & external stakeholders
• Develop & update strategic sourcing plan that reflects key activities, respective status, timing, resource plan, and expected outcomes that are in alignment with overall real estate strategy & among leadership stakeholders
• Consolidate category service providers to JLL preferred suppliers to fully leverage scale & purchasing power
• Leverage internal resources, subject matter experts, and category managers to support in designing & delivering service delivery models that drive positive client outcomes
• Engage with key stakeholders to partner with through bid, evaluate, award, and change management
• Lead change management to ensure seamless implementation & continued business operations
• Organize & evaluate data (spend, scope of work, location portfolio, work order, etc.) to support prioritization of activities and to aid in data-driven decision making, identify opportunities, explore root cause issues, and validate spend
• Coordinate periodic supplier business reviews with key stakeholders; and leveraging JLL’s software to manage
• Facilitate corrective action plans for under performing suppliers with the goal to stabilize performance
• Ensure all suppliers maintain a compliant contract that reflects scope of work, site list, and compensation
• Monitor contract expiration's; facilitate contract review & action plan with stakeholders (contract renew, re-bid, terminate)
• Maintain accuracy of supplier records & information; leveraging JLL’s software to manage
• Coordinate supplier screening activities to ensure on-going risk compliance
• Screen new suppliers
• Ensure all suppliers maintain accurate & up-to-date certificate of insurance; monitor & resolve expiring or non-compliance
• Regularly report screening & compliance metrics
• Act as escalation for field operations team for supplier and/or service related changes, opportunities, or challenges
• Intake & process sourcing request forms prepared & submitted by the field operations team for site-specific service needs
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• 5 plus years of experience in Sourcing/Supply Chain field
• Experience negotiating contracts
• Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate deals and understand what fair and optimal pricing structures are
• Experience in developing and negotiating contracts with suppliers
• Ability to communicate effectively with business unit clients, internal and external; Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to develop, enhance and execute on processes and procedures; regularly contributes to development of new or enhancement of existing business process methodologies and tools.
• Strong project management skills
• An understanding of the roles of managing suppliers and the interaction between the services they provide and the internal team
• Excellent planning, organization, delivery skills and comfortable in high pressure situations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication to work successfully with a range of stakeholders including consultants, contractors, customers and staff
• Leadership Skills for managing contractors, subcontractors and consultants to meet clear deadlines
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Project or Power Project, Excel, Word, Outlook
