JOB INFORMATION
Work under general supervision to support the organization in coordinating all aspects of the firm's relationship with assigned lenders in areas of loan origination, underwriting, quality control, and loan delivery to ensure that loans meet the firm's specific guidelines and requirements. Assist in preparing and monitoring reports. Perform research and analyses requested by management.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
• Review loans for quality assurance, misrepresentation, and risk. Analyze and report on loan quality issues. Recommend changes.
• Review and manage transfer activity.
• Collaborate with customers on lender requests.
• Respond to underwriting and product inquiries. Escalate issues as appropriate.
• Identify customer development and training needs. Provide training as needed.
• May perform less complex projects or participate as a team member on more complex projects.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
• 1+ years of related experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable speaking with executives and collaborating with business partners across the organization
• Must have exceptional organizational skills (ability to work in multiple technology applications to derive Responsible Party data)
• Must have experience working in a variety of technology applications while being comfortable providing insight and feedback related to technology enhancements from the business perspective
• Highly adaptable in an ever changing environment with the ability to think creatively and share ideas and feedback
• Must be able to make verbal contributions on calls and in meetings with attendees at any level
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to perform detailed, extensive research and analysis, then communicate findings in a clear and concise manner
• Mortgage background with a high level understanding of Representations and Warranties is preferred
