Introduction to the team
We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst for our Business Valuations group. The Senior Business Valuation Analyst is responsible for conducting financial statement and valuation analysis, preparing industry and economic outlooks, valuation report writing, and conducting specific valuation research projects. The firms’ Business Valuation group is recognized as a leading specialist in the valuation of businesses, securities, and intangible assets for a wide range of tax, transaction, compliance purposes.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering, economics or related field required
• MBA is a plus
• CPA, CFA, and / or other valuations designation preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience required
• Experience with a public accounting background or Audit background a plus
• Knowledge of discounted cash flow models, trading, and acquisition multiples, valuation of intangible assets and equity preferred
• The use of deriviatives, binomial, Monte Carlo, and other simulation models is a plus
• Ability to work with managers and gain their confidence and respect
• Highly analytical and creative problem solving skills
• The use of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
• Flexibility with travel and hours
