Job Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
• Works with all levels within the organization to capture multiple complex business requirements and translate them into system requirements at an enterprise or strategic level
• Effectively applies knowledge and skills of analysis, business processes, tools, domains, project methodologies, requirements definitions, and testing to solve a range of problems
• Partners with other Technology Team members to provide advice or solutions within his or her area of expertise
• Stays informed about current developments within his or her expertise
• Trains Junior analyst in the team
• Works concurrently on multiple and complex projects
Analytical Expertise:
• Identifies problems, performs root cause analysis, investigates information, performs impact analysis, and formulates and executes plans to develop solutions
• Identifies strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
• Understands and can estimate effort and value for solutions
• Understands at a broad level how technology platforms/architectures are applied to automated business solutions
Business Knowledge:
• Actively engaged in industry, domain, process, or technology trends
• Understands Business Customer goals, needs and partners to ensure programs align to long term strategy
Task Management:
• Acts as a coordination and facilitation point for organizing work efforts
• Sets up or follows established procedures to ensure high quality of work
• Understands dependency identification processes in technology work, verifies information and carefully reviews and checks the accuracy of own work
• Establishes or follows prioritization process to drive work, and has a sense of urgency about getting work completed
• Looks for and seizes opportunities to do more or to do things more efficiently
• Works effectively in a fast paced, collaborative, innovative team based environment
• Strong Client Focus and goals team orientation
Communication:
• Appropriately shares ideas and information with others
• Practices attentive and active listening
• Ensures that regular and consistent communications take place
• Expresses ideas as well as business or technical requirements clearly and concisely in writing using appropriate levels of summary and synthesis
• Expresses oneself clearly in conversation and interaction with others
Work Experience:
• Minimum of 10+ years work experience as an Analyst or equivalent work experience utilizing the complete SDLC
• Minimum of 5 years of requirements gathering
• 3 or more years of experience working with the business and Technology organizations to create requirements for various projects including innovative solutions, new designs etc.
• 3 years of minimum experience with Agile methodology and ability to run Scrums, JAD sessions
• Knowledge of issues/risk management
Tools/Software:
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint
• Expert knowledge and usage of diagramming tools such VISIO to depict Conceptual solutions meeting business needs
• Expert knowledge of using Collaborative tools.
Preferred Skills:
• Previous consulting experience preferred
• Prefer 1 to 2 years of experience in Technology role
• Agile development experience
• Project Management experience
