The Crowe Healthcare Risk Consulting Managing Director will develop, build and maintain Healthcare client relationships and understand and identify solutions that address our client’s ever-changing compliance and business risks. While a Business Risk individual, this role will be a true “One Crowe” role as opportunities that match services in other areas of the firm including Audit, Tax, Advisory and Performance will also be pursued.
Builds upon and enhances the current Healthcare Risk Consulting market strategy/vision to enable the current team to more effectively develop and maintain client relationships and to execute their duties with the highest possible commitment to integrity and quality.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develops an integrated healthcare go to market strategy across Risk and other Crowe business units as appropriate.
• Actively leads and generates new Healthcare Risk business opportunities.
• Coordinates healthcare business development activities across the RISK team.
• Serves as engagement leader for appropriate healthcare engagements/contracts.
• Mentors and supports growth of the healthcare based RISK team.
• Develops new RISK based solutions focused on the needs of Healthcare clients (efficiencies, compliance, regulatory, internal audit, etc.).
• Actively participates in appropriate professional and networking organizations.
• Serves as engagement/client leader for appropriate healthcare engagements/clients.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher, CPA or other approved certification required.
• Ten or move years relevant healthcare consulting/risk management experience; SOX, MAR and QAR experience a plus.
• Proven success within healthcare internal audit at the leadership level.
• Understanding of the consulting model including expertise in drafting RFP responses and proposals, presenting to decision makers, and staffing project teams.
• Strategic thinker who has used deep specialization and innovation to identify client focused solutions.
• Lead teams to work effectively under pressure, to meet deadlines and produce high quality deliverables.
• Prior business development and client service experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to adapt to and lead a changing environment with an open style and team orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to be concise and impactful.
• Executive presence, proven presentation skills at senior management level.
• Location is open with preference to Northeast or Midwest.
• Travel as required.
