Description
Position Summary:
Interface with the business to provide strategic consulting and guidance throughout key strategic initiatives. Facilitate and lead the planning of strategic initiatives to achieve objectives. Proactively serve as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders. Work closely on intangible issues across organizational and business-entity boundaries. Manage one (or more) focused portfolios and ensure strategic and investment alignment.
Position Responsibilities:
• Senior level business partner that works on true strategic initiatives
• Actively engage senior leadership to assess various business areas, understand current and future problems, and provide solutions for how to transform the business
• Scenario planning around sensitive strategies
• Communicate strategic goals with the portfolio and assist translation of the long-term view to the nearer-term portfolio
• Advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impacts on end-user products and services, business processes and system priorities
• Utilize ROI estimates to work with business stakeholders to determine an optimal investment mix to maximize overall portfolio value
• Provide competitive and industry analysis
• Work closely with business leadership to set priorities based on business needs, resource capacity, risk exposure and interdependencies
• Manage portfolio inventory to ensure that prioritization and scheduling of work is in-line with annual plans, business needs, technology initiatives, and available resource capacity
• Monitor performance of projects within portfolio; work with project managers to ensure projects stay aligned to the approved business case, CBA, and the committed timeline
Position Qualifications:
• College Degree required, or commensurate business experience; MBA a plus
• 10+ years in a Leadership role and/or Consulting
• Experienced, qualified and comfortable working with senior executives
• Strong data analytics skills
• Demonstrate strategic planning and execution, business analysis, diplomacy and proactive orientation
• Display the utmost integrity in all situations

• Act as a model for initiative to others by consistently pushing the performance envelope
