GMP Facilities Maintenance Controller
We are seeking a GMP Facility Maintenance Controller that will provide support to the Facilities Maintenance Operations (FOM) team.

Job Responsibilities
Essential
• Provide oversight and field direction to third party maintenance vendors, and project teams by performing field walks of mechanical spaces, utility systems, campus infrastructure systems and specialized equipment
• Understand manufacturing schedules and equipment/system downtimes required for vendor maintenance in a GMP environment.
• Partner with the Third-party vendor and Manufacturing Operations (end user) to ensure maintenance is completed per GMP procedures. This includes ensuring Vendor Qualification is complete.
• Adjust and align Maintenance Plans and intervals in SAP per GMP procedures to consolidate system/equipment downtime.
• Coordinate Pre-approval checklist review and signatures prior to vendor maintenance with appropriate groups including but limited to the end user, quality group, and vendor. Ensure checklists meet or exceed the applicable Maintenance Strategy.
• Ensure Master Statement of Work (SOW) and Purchase Order (PO) is in place and followed for each Third-party vendor. Track SOW and PO budget for vendor services. Drive the renewal of Master SOW.
• Understand and follow GMP system shutdown process for IMP. Partner with maintenance to draft and route Shutdown and Restart Procedures (SAR) forms.
• Coordinate EQC testing for GMP systems.
• Maintain CMMS data for GMP systems and equipment. Ensure it is current and accurate. This entails leveraging living documents such as the System Impact Assessments (SIA) and Criticality Assessments (CA).
• Maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP for GMP Systems and Equipment. Ensure all parts are listed on the BOM prior to any parts replacement. Assist with the “Like for Like” assessment. Work with the end user or maintenance department to assist with Trackwise Change Request as needed.
• Ensure Task List BOM associated with GMP Systems and Equipment in SAP is current and accurate. Partner with Reliability Engineering (RE) to correct Task List BOM. Partner with MRO Stores to ensure parts are available and traceable to work orders.
• Ensure Measuring Points Template Lists associated with GMP Systems and Equipment are current and accurate. Partner with maintenance technicians and RE to correct.
• 12) Create and monitor weekly workload for Maintenance Technicians using SAP and team meetings.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
• BA/BS or equivalent engineering discipline, or minimum of 6 years of experience in Utilities, Maintenance and Facilities Operations in a regulated industry.
• Proficient knowledge of Building Automation systems controls, Computerized Maintenance Management systems (SAP)
• Proficient understanding of safety principles and quality systems in a regulated manufacturing and research lab environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong leadership, organizational planning, in addition to strong technical background required to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral) required interfacing across departments, peers, and managerial levels.
• Proficient computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Projects, TRACKWISE, Visio and SAP
• Comprehensive understanding of Facilities Operations and Equipment Maintenance
• Proficient understanding cGMP processes, controls and behaviors. Exhibits an Engrained Quality mindset.
• Adherence to established safety and environmental guidelines, procedures. Ability to identify and report safety and environmental incidents including injuries, illnesses, near misses, and safety suggestions. Fosters a positive safety culture in which no one gets hurt.
Work Environment/Physical Demands/Safety Considerations
• As needed must be able to work weekends, off shifts, and overtime as required to support a 24x7
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, push/pull >100 pounds of force
• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to perform computer work with heavy mouse use
• Must be able to meet gowning requirements such as safety glasses, full gowns, steel toes boots, etc. No makeup or jewelry of any kind can be worn inside the manufacturing plant.
