As part of the transformation into one global sales function for Sandvik Coromant, we are now looking for a confident and business-oriented Marketing Manager for Sales Area Americas – someone who wants to ensure successful marketing solutions for today, with the needs of tomorrow in mind. The location for this position is flexible within the sales area, and frequent global travel is an essential part of your job.
Key performance areas
As Marketing Manager, you are a member of the Sandvik Coromant Global Marketing team with accountability for the strategic direction of global marketing and brand positioning, and for establishing and reaching the objectives of the sales area. You ensure appropriate marketing channels and efficient methods to promote our growth strategy, and support sales by developing and implementing prosperous marketing activities. Executing successful launches of our offers is an important part of your mission, as is leading a balanced and efficient mix of marketing, communication and brand activities.
You are responsible for PR and media relations and for the Sandvik Coromant Centers in the sales area - securing certification and maximum utilization. In close cooperation with other sales areas and the global marketing team, you manage and develop a team of marketing professionals, and you ensure transformation of sales and marketing needs into marketing strategies and sales support. You are a member of the sales area management team, and report to the Global Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing Execution.

• Ensuring a global corporate strategy, including change communication
• Being an important and active part of the global marketing execution team, with strong connections to other collaborating departments
• Successfully communicating marketing and communication needs within sales to relevant stakeholders
• Actively working for a digital approach; supporting internal awareness and understanding in the digital area of marketing and sales
Your profile
You have a degree in Marketing or Business/Sales, or equivalent experience gained from work or training, and at least five years’ experience from successfully managing teams in a global setting. You have exceptional sales and business understanding and are highly skilled in strategic planning and tactical execution. We also expect you to have a good track record of delivering results and managing change. To be successful in this role, you need good knowledge of - and solid interest in - the trends and developments of technology for digital marketing and communication. Experience in working with marketing engagement approaches is an advantage. As we act in a global context, you must be fluent in English, both in writing and speaking, and skills in any other languages within the sales area are beneficial.
