A career in Partner Affairs, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to provide strategic and operational support to current and former partners of the Firm. You’ll have a big part in supporting our partners from assisting with partner admissions and talent development to partner compensation, administration, and benefits. As part of our Internal Firm Services, you’ll provide strategic oversight, manage operations, and develop policies for all aspects of the Partner Affairs team.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
• Train and lead staff
• Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
• Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
• Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
• Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Considerable knowledge of partnership structure in a professional services firm environment Demonstrated knowledge of talent management with considerable technical/functional technology expertise. Demonstrated prior experience applying critical thinking skills to understand concepts and strategies and translate to meaningful deliverables for firm leadership as well as perform external research and assess meaningfulness related to executing the partner development strategy. Demonstrated considerable knowledge and prior experience applying independent discretion on a daily basis to understand what we are trying to solve, create a plan on how to address, including where to go for information/data, how to analyze, evaluate and perform research to arrive at creative and innovative solutions related to partner development.. Demonstrated prior experience working in an environment with high ambiguity, apply critical thinking skills to focus on what is required to advance an initiative by creating a strategy to address and bringing to execution. Previous experience in client service work (audit, tax or consulting) and/or relevant senior HR experience.
Demonstrates considerable ability to: Translate ideas to action, communicate ideas and influence others and to share point of view, ideas and perspective. Use judgment to assess and make recommendations based upon research and relevance to the professional services partnership environment. Communicate, influence and negotiate with the ability to impact and influence others where there is no direct reporting relationship. Utilize advanced PC applications including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently; to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management including Partner Development leader and Partner Affairs professionals and/or Learning and Development for the purpose of providing guidance, support and being responsive to their questions. Extensive proven ability to multi-task and meet rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, producing high quality work products leveraging strong attention to detail skills.
