Overview
The Human Resources VP is responsible for planning, designing and executing human resource management disciplines and activities to support the company’s operational and strategic needs.
Job Description
• Work in conjunction with Division leadership and internal customers to develop a human resource management strategy that supports the company’s strategic and operational priorities.
• Contribute to the development of business unit goals and action plans to anticipate and support the needs of a growth-oriented company.
• Provide consultation on human resource development and engagement topics.
• Define and administer comprehensive talent management discipline to attract, develop and retain resources to support the company’s operational goals.
• Equip organization with an effective staffing strategy, including proactive workforce planning, talent assessment and placement, to yield timely and effective hiring.
• Work in collaboration with leadership to structure and implement market-competitive compensation solutions to engage and reward talent for delivering desired business results.
• Direct the administration of iterative operations activities, including time tracking, payroll, benefits administration and employee relations.
• Equip the organization with the tools and disciplines to achieve a high-performance and highly engaged workforce, including effective on-boarding, training, performance management, recognition, and internal communication programs.
• Administer employee surveys to maintain an informed perspective of staff satisfaction and engagement opportunities.
• Support the ongoing development of the organization through effective management and leadership development disciplines.
• Oversee relationships with vendors to support optimization of resourced solutions.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
Ideal Candidate will have the following:
• Conversant with technical and critical components of Human Resource Management Strategy.
• Contemporary knowledge of business concepts, life cycles and processes.
• Project or Program Management professional.
• Master’s degree in education, organizational development or related field required.
• Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices & procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience & judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• General computer skills: including use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
• Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
