Corporate Vice President, Advanced Employee Benefit Specialist
Role Overview:
• Support agents, GO Management, and Business Development consultants for assigned territory by providing one-on-one case consultation and case design services to help identify and implement various employer benefits products, cross/sell and up sell opportunities and strategies in connecting with sales of our worksite products.
• Support employer benefits sales effort by collaborating with agents on identified opportunities.
• Facilitate our Worksite General Office training program based on a blended learning curriculum
• Support agents, GO Management, and Consultants for assigned territory requiring assistance with the technical, legal and tax aspects of advanced business and retirement planning tools and techniques.
• Work jointly with other divisions of New York Life to develop and promote Worksite initiatives for the sale and market of our Company’s products.
Qualifications:
• College Degree Required
• JD degree preferred, other professional designations such as CLU, ChFC, CFP a plus
• 5+ years of related experience
• Extensive knowledge of and experience in the Business, Estate Planning and Retirement Markets, Employee Benefits Product Knowledge a plus
• Professional, written and oral communication skills and organizational skills
• Outstanding critical thinking, analytical and quantitative abilities
• Life insurance knowledge a plus
• Executive presence; self-starter with a keen sense of ownership and commitment to the work, and a passion to deliver results
• Extensive travel required (estimated at approximately 75-85%)
