Job Description:
At Regions, our Programmer Analyst Team Leader devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer limitations, operating time and form of desired results.
Primary Responsibilities
• Assigns and directs the work of team members
• Estimates timelines and technical efforts for planning purposes
• Involved with Developers, Business Analyst and Quality Assurance
• Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation
• Assists with the review and evaluation of personnel performance
• Plans, conducts and supervises assignments, generally involving the larger and more important projects or more than one project
• May act in liaison capacity with other departments, divisions and organizations
• Evaluates progress and results and recommends major changes in procedures
• Operates with considerable latitude for independent action or decision
• Responsible for compliance
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Ten years business experience

Technology Delivery Lead
Regions Bank is seeking an experienced Technology Delivery Lead to partner with the Real Estate Banking business unit within the Corporate Banking Group. The Technology Delivery Lead works across the Regions Technology organization to deliver and support the technology necessary to meet the objectives and day-to-day needs of the business. The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys building relationships between the business and technology.
Responsibilities
• Partner with the business to plan and deliver technology required to achieve the strategic objectives of the business. Experience identifying and analyzing different approaches for solving business problems with technology, and presenting to the business the strengths and weaknesses of each approach to jointly agree on a path forward.
• Responsible for the design, delivery, integration, and support of all technology, primarily applications and systems, required by the business.
• Partner with business, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that technology-related projects are appropriately planned, executed, and delivered successfully.
• Takes a lead in defining scopes, timeframes, and budgets for new technology initiatives and projects. Translates tactical and strategic objectives into workable plans for delivering technology-driven capabilities and solutions.
• Liaison with enterprise IT organization to ensure the business receives best-in-class technology support from all IT areas.
• Enable first level support for troubleshooting and correcting critical IT issues; facilitates root cause analysis and implementation of mitigants and/or permanent fix.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing support of all applications and systems for the business.
• Champion and implement technology best practices across the business’s technology platform.
• Collaborate with the business to identify, evaluate and pursue new technologies that may add value to the business.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships internally and externally, providing long-term benefits to the business and technology organizations.
• Coach and mentor junior team members with project related activities and tasks.
Qualifications
• Very experienced at working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. Must be organized and capable of independently managing multiple deliverables and deadlines. Must be capable of concurrently working across multiple unrelated projects and assignments.
• Strong relationship management ability; partner with business and technology stakeholders on technology initiatives, including management of project intake process.
• Has been on the front lines of production outages, working to resolve the outage, analyzing the root-cause of the problem, and providing long-term resolutions.
• Passion for learning new businesses, processes, and technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills; very organized with attention to detail; can successfully manage tight timeframes and deadlines; and known for quality of work.
• Uses business knowledge, a clear understanding of a business unit’s business strategy and objectives, and a strong understanding of enterprise technologies to define project scopes and propose technologies to meet the needs of the business.
• Experience documenting business, functional, and technical requirements for technology software applications and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capable of presenting to senior leaders within the business and technology organizations. Possesses an ability to express complex technical concepts.
• Experience designing and developing small to medium-sized software applications. Comfortable being solely responsible for the success of software development projects.
• Ability to communicate the design and implementation of software systems including relevant strengths/weaknesses and reasons for implementation decisions.
• Bachelors or graduate degree in computer science, information systems, related technology or engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferences
• Development experience with the .NET framework, Visual Studio, C#, Web APIs, and ASP.NET. Web development experience using ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.
• Experience working in the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of commercial real estate.
• Experience working in an Agile environment using Scaled Agile (SAFe) principles.
• Project management experience; PMP certification a plus.
