Overview
The Senior Learning Program Manager isresponsible for managing all non-leadership sales programs specific for Commercial and supports a highly collaborative and agile learning program manager within our Center for Learning & Talent Development (CLTD). Responsible for the design, development, implementation and management of learning solutions for assigned business clients: Consumer/Commercial/Shared Services.
Assignments may include: workforce readiness job skills, professional development, sales learning and sales management reinforcement, onboarding programs and career pathing advancement programs. The role strategically partners with senior business line leaders and consults with business unit managers and subject matter experts to ensure client needs and training expectations are met through the delivery of cost effective, quality learning programs and methods. Will be responsible for designing and delivering learning programs and reinforcements to targeted audiences that align with business needs and produce measurable results. Will evaluate training delivery, measure results, and recommend program changes. Will ensure all training programs support the corporate culture, customer journey and strategic plan.
Office space is available within our 5 state footprint (PA, MD, VA, NJ, DE) with the two main training hubs located in East Petersburg, PA and Mount Laurel, NJ.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties
• Will be responsible for strategically forecasting learning needs that align with the enterprise Talent Strategy, strategic initiatives, and business growth targets. Consults with assigned client group or business unit(s) to assess learning needs including scope, gap analysis, and business performance alignment. Designs and develops training programs based on thorough needs analysis and in partnership with business unit and subject matter experts. Uses adult learning methodology and adheres to department standards and models for design and development. Uses on demand resources, i.e. Skillsoft courseware, as pre- or post-work to enhance programs. Develops effective leader guides. Facilitates programs and identifies appropriate blended learning and delivery methods for new and existing training programs. Makes recommendations for enhancements to business line systems, tools, and policies. Builds reinforcement tools and ensures they are appropriately integrated with other learning programs and easily accessible on the CLTD HUB. Oversees the implementation of pilot sessions, train-the-trainer sessions, and roll-out of portfolio programs. Responsible for full project management and results-driven outcomes. Ensures training programs are assigned to appropriate audiences and tracked in the department specific systems for accurate training dashboard and metric reporting. Builds training plans and curriculum roadmaps, determines project milestones, and forecasts completion dates. Identifies project risks and issues, devises contingency plans to mitigate risks, informs management of accomplishments, plans, and delivers project executive summaries. Ensures all programs align with compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Uses appropriate measures to assess learning transfer and behavior change. Evaluates the effectiveness and impact of learning using standard MTM or equivalent surveys and tools. Meets or exceeds all CLTD metric thresholds. Adjusts learning programs as necessary to achieve optimal results. Consults with business units to map out reinforcement methods to achieve desired behavior changes. Establishes business impact or return on investment measurements in conjunction with business units to show the financial/business value of learning. Partners with business unit managers to determine course exit strategy including manager reinforcement and coaching tools and ongoing support materials for employees. Provides quarterly and annual metrics dashboard and executive summary for Blue Chip projects in portfolio.
• Collaborates with immediate peer group to share client data and leverage resources efficiently. Collaborates with HR team, HR business partners, talent acquisition, change management, etc. to share client projects, problem-solve, build successful project teams, discuss strategies, and align on blue chips. Works with corporate communications when distinct and robust communication plans are necessary. Thinks broadly about program stakeholders. Collaborates with business lines and SMEs and gains commitment toward optimal solutions. Prepares RASCI charts for large-scale projects to ensure “goals, roles, and processes” are agreed upon for optimal outcomes. Collaborates with and negotiates with outside vendors and contract staff to ensure efficient and effective outcomes. Conducts effective working group meetings; conducts transparent feedback sessions and communicates clearly and frequently to appropriate stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience. (Required)
Experience:
• 7 or more years experience with Consumer Banking, Residential Mortgage, Commercial Lending,Project management, Management of Learning Programs and Presentation delivery. (Required)
• Excellent training delivery with experience using a variety of delivery methods and platforms including instructor led, web based and blended learning solutions
• Experience providing coaching and feedback in a learning environment or on the job
• Experience consulting with clients to provide strategic solutions to learning needs to support Commercial Saleswith design and development of sales coaching programs and reinforcement tools that align with our Accelerate Sales Model. (Required)
• Proven experience with the ADDIE model of instructional design. (Required)
• 3 or more years technical or job specific training. (Preferred)
