Graphic Designer
Job Description:
As an integral member of the National Retail Marketing team, the Graphic Designer is responsible for prioritizing, designing and executing projects in support of Retail. Our ideal candidate comes with strong design and digital experience, has an understanding of general marketing practices and strong knowledge of retail real estate. They are interested in developing and learning new techniques to provide unique solutions for our internal clients and have the ability to be creative both inside and outside of our corporate brand guidelines while being conscious of delivering accurate content in their creative work.The Graphic Designer has a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines and can efficiently own multiple projects at a time—sometimes with little direction. They also have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively depending on the project.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with service line professionals to design front-line business development and marketing tools to help win business while ensuring brand consistency.
• Design various collateral and templates including national and property marketing materials, property flyers, e-blasts, case studies, BOVs, tour books, research reports, maps and presentation graphics
• Design customized pitches for high-value pursuits
• Create digital marketing projects, including designing dynamic emails, creating property websites and managing public web site and intranet content.
• Work with marketing on creating e-mail marketing campaigns
• Identify opportunities and offer ideas to bring creativity and innovation to existing marketing practices and materials
• Assist with internal and external events and activities as assigned.
• Assist with video creation, as needed.
• Assist brokerage coordinators and Retail Marketing team with graphic requests and provide periodic training to ensure that all marketing materials present the JLL brand consistently and follow corporate graphic standards.
• Help maintain retail image library
• Ad design and website graphic support, as needed
• Keep up-to-date on current design methodologies, marketing trends and marketing technology, as well as current social media.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s /Associate’s degree in related field and a minimum of two-three years of design experience in a corporate setting, preferably commercial real estate (retail)
• Advanced skill level in Adobe Creative Suite is required (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office; ability to effectively train others on Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of HTML/HTML5 and CSS
• Knowledge of animation/video experience, After Effects and Premier is a plus
• Knowledge of Dreamweaver is a plus
• Knowledge of WYSIWYG website platforms such as Weebly or Squarespace or other custom websites
• Mapping experience
• Illustration experience
• Knowledge of the print production process
• Strong digital, art direction and copy editing skillset
• Strong project management and organizational skills with impeccable attention to detail
• Strong understanding of retail business
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including editing and proofreading
• Assertive, creative, independent work style and friendly, positive demeanor
• Motivated to meet deadlines and available to work overtime when needed (sometimes with no advanced notice)
• Understanding of and commitment to client service
