Description
Manages professional and support staff. May be responsible for one or more specialized areas or for activities related to specific products. Responsible for planning and implementation of projects or marketing activities supporting objectives for revenue, volume, profit, customer satisfaction, retention, etc. Develops objectives and strategies as well as monitors performance for specialized programs. Responsible for reporting results and producing reports for decision makers. Typically reports to a Marketing Vice President. Experienced marketer, administrator and project manager.

Prudential is seeking a Director of Marketing Experiences and Strategy to work directly for the Head of Customer Engagement to develop and execute high visibility strategies across Prudential’s products and businesses that will result in financial betterment for Prudential’s 30 million customers. This is a newly created position that will play an instrumental role in shaping the future of how Prudential engages its existing customers and acquires new customers and deepens customer relationships. As part of the Customer Office Marketing team, this person will lead initiatives across Prudential’s business units including Retirement, Group Insurance, Asset Management, Life Insurance and Annuities.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Design and drive cross-channel marketing funnel strategy for existing customers and prospects
• Drive cutting-edge customer experiences for marketing and strategic growth initiatives
• Drive partnerships with international marketing teams as needed
• Work closely with the executive team to help define, streamline and communicate business strategies
• Operate at both a strategic and tactical level as needed to deliver remarkable outcomes
• Lead and/or collaborate with cross-functional teams containing members from throughout the Prudential enterprise to develop and execute strategic marketing programs
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of marketing and management experience, specifically in financial services and/or internet enabled businesses. Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
• Experience and expertise with developing marketing strategy.
• Exposure to mar-tech capabilities such as marketing-automation, lead management, and personalization a plus.
• Passion for and experience with designing functional yet beautiful and highly engaging customer experiences
• Exceptional oral and written communications skills. Strong Executive Presence
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence senior executives across multiple business units and functions
• Experience managing and motivating a team, allocating and supervising their work
• Excellent consultative skills and ability to form strong business relationships at all levels
• Curious and innovative mindset that inspires those around them (regardless of level) to be creative and try new things

• Must be open to occasional international travel
