Job Description
• Envision the future of ready funds (i.e. consumers spending the money they have) based on consumer trends, technological advances and market/regulatory context in key regions to identify new products and capabilities
• Perform research and analysis to identify key areas in which Visa can bring these products and capabilities to market
• Identify and develop industry partnerships by understanding and determining complementary technologies and opportunities for collaboration
• Translate product requirements into technical specifications and work with Engineering to determine feasibility, minimum viable product, development cost, and rollout schedules
• Define monetization approach for products and capabilities to be launched
• Work closely with internal stakeholders (Product, Regions, Business Development, Technology) and Fintech partners to manage and drive priorities
Qualifications
• Seasoned product leader with 5+ years experience in payments industry, product development and strategy
• Experience in developing new products/capabilities in a high growth environment with a demonstrated ability to translate client needs into business and product requirements
• Experience in driving product strategy and go to market for digital payments
• Leadership skills, business insights and strategic thinking to influence and drive tactical execution
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities; strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with financial analysis
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to effectively work cross-organizationally
• Creativity and resourcefulness to overcome unexpected roadblocks
• Ability to own and deliver initiatives from conception through completion
• Experience working in global setting and international teams coupled with awareness of market differences and commonalities
• Travel will be required occasionally depending on projects
Bachelor’s Degree Required; Advanced degree preferred
