Job Description
Visa is seeking an experienced technology risk management leader that will oversee the design, implementation, and effectiveness of our technology controls. Specifically, the candidate will oversee two main programs; the controls monitoring and validation program which takes a risk based approach to validating effectiveness of key technology controls, and the third-party technology review management program that oversees third-party reviews executed by independent parties on our technology environment (e.g. PCI-DSS, SSAE18, etc.). The candidate will partner with Information Security and Technology Operations to ensure controls are effectively managing technology risks, and to continuously enhance risk monitoring and reporting. The candidate must be have a deep understanding of technology risks and controls, be able to provide practical, client-focused solutions, and effectively partner and communicate with multiple stakeholders. The position reports to the VP of Technology Risk (within our Enterprise Risk Management organization) and will be based in Foster City, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide leadership on the oversight of technology controls. Set the program strategy, manage the execution, and monitor the program effectiveness
• Evaluate the evolving technology risk and control landscape, and ensure emerging risks and controls are assessed and implemented as necessary
• Generate meaningful dashboards and reports to demonstrate our overall Technology risk posture
• Present results to senior management, executives, governance committees, and regulators as necessary

Qualifications
• 12+ years of experience in evaluating and/or implementing technology controls, preferably for Big 4 or Fortune 500 companies
• Subject-matter expertise on information security (e.g. access management, data security, etc.), availability (e.g. incident and change management, capacity management), and business continuity risk and control frameworks (e.g. COBIT, NIST, CIS CSC, PCI-DSS, ISO/ISE 27001:2013)
• Experience overseeing third-party reviews of technology controls (e.g. PCI-DSS, SSAE18, etc.)
• Ability to prioritize deliverables and projects to meet timelines efficiently, and adapt to changes in priorities quickly
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong executive presence and the ability to effectively communicate formally and informally
• Experienced at presenting information to all levels, with ability to facilitate group discussions and debate across geographic, functional lines and levels
• Bachelor's Degree
• Payment industry experience a plus, but not required
• Experience in regulated industries a plus, but not required
