• · Assist in ensuring department meets/exceeds established service-level agreement (SLA) standards

The Document Control Team Lead will assist the document control supervisor in providing daily support within the document control department. The team lead will assist their team members in researching a variety of document requests while responding back to the clients/custodians timely. In addition, the team lead will manage all audit requests from clients/custodians. Communicate and coordinate with internal and external resources to complete tasks within required timeframes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicate and coordinate with external and internal resources to complete tasks within required timeframes.
• Process document requests for clients and custodians relating to in-house servicing
• Maintain, order and track records/documents for the company
• Order, track, distribute, prep, scan, and index all files related to servicing as needed
• Provide updates to procedures as required
• Regularly report to supervisor on production of team members
• Discuss document matters with clients/custodians
• Assist in researching and resolving document retrieval escalations
• Responsible for attending meetings internally and externally
• Coordinate and respond appropriately on client/custodian audits
• Assist in ensuring department meets/exceeds established service-level agreement (SLA) standards
• Assist with staff training and continuing education
• Research and submit client/vendor/third party billing for approval and payment
• All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required
• A minimum three years experience in banking, real estate and/or mortgage servicing industry; similar clerical roles may be acceptable
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; ability to work independently; strong analytical, problem solving, research, interpretive and decision making skills; detail oriented; strong leadership, organizational and planning skills; ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines; able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of servicing systems (i.e. LPS), aware of various loan documents
• Typing, Microsoft Word, Excel, 10-key calculator; knowledge of office equipment
• Knowledge of Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac document retention guidelines
WORK CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Must have the ability to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance. Overtime required as necessary. Some travel may be required.
