Business Systems Analyst

Define business processes and system alignment. Translate business requirements into system definitions and solutions. Strategic partner, acting as liaison between the user community and the technical applications development staff (may include offshore staff). Resolve system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly. Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc. Implement system alignment with business processes.
• Develop detailed functional and system specifications for automation based on business requirements, business process maps and use cases defined by the process subject matter expert
• Translate business requirements into system definitions and solutions. Strategic partner acting as liaison between the user community and the technical IT staff.
• Work with business to identify functional and performance expectations
• Manage automated processes on regular schedule to ensure they continue to meet business requirements and ensure appropriate handling of exceptions and system outages
• Assist in establishing escalation path and process for issues with automation tools
• Engage leadership to identify automation opportunities and to prioritize automation pipeline candidates
• Develop Robotic Process Automation using the Automation Anywhere platform
• Creates macros(VBA) for various business groups to help drive automation of tasks using primarily Microsoft Office tools
• Coordinates and participates in user acceptance testing with non-production environments prior to deploying into production systems
• Provide technical training and guidance to the team in technologies related to the development and support of automation
• Establish, review and monitor automation governance and standard operating procedure and helps to develop and maintain best practices as it pertains to building automation
• Assists in maintenance and administration of local Automation Anywhere control room and macros library
• Develops and maintains implementation timelines, regularly reporting on development progress and implementation status to leadership teams
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Typically 2-5 years of directly related experience
• Experience with process optimization in a shared services environment
• Experience using an RPA tool, preferably Automation Anywhere, strongly desired
• Experience working with Visual Basic for Applications strongly desired
• Project management skills preferred
• Experience working with Oracle and related systems
