A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this role, you will…
• Be an advocate for the organization and play a critical role in ensuring the organization is hiring the best possible talent
• Coordination and support of the company Charity and/or Wellness programs and employee activities, coordination and communication of non-traditional benefits
• Oversee offer of employments for internal promotions and external candidates
• Make a positive impact to a growing organization by providing outstanding customer service all current and new hire employees
• Lead company recognition programs of The Champion, Service Awards, and Employee Appreciation events.
• Partner with Human Resource to enhance employee engagement and manage testimonial program as well as being instrumental in organizations social media platforms

DETAILED JOB DUTIES
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility
• Monitors and maintains all Department of Labor unemployment notices, potential charges, coach and guide operational management through the hearing process prior to attending hearing, attends hearings as required, maintains the monthly experience rating report for accuracy of claims charged to the company’s accounts.
• Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
• Responsible for monitoring, maintaining the company’s leave of absence and Family Medical Leave benefits. Ensures all human resources team members are notified of the potential or ongoing status of leave for each employee. Partners with third party administrator and acts as a liaison to the employee and to management. Responds to all requests for leave with formal documentation. Reviews the leave requirements with each employee and manager prior to the commencement of the leave. Creation and communication of reports.
• Facilitate offers of employment to potential candidates
• Coordination and support of the company Charity and/or Wellness programs and employee activities, coordination and communication of non-traditional benefits
• Utilize applicant tracking systems, resume database searches, phone screens and interviews to ensure hiring top talent and be prepared for succession planning.
• Post job openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues
• Maintain, distribute all recruiting reports
• Order and monitor all background and credit checks for candidates who have received verbal employment offers
• All other duties assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in personnel/Human Resources management or 3 - 5 years related experience.
• 1-3 years of experience as a general recruiter, plus experience as technical recruiter, recruiting IT professionals for software, Information Technology or hardware positions, preferably in the Financial Services industry.
• BS/BA in Human Resources or Business Administration or related discipline required.
• Knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management, and due diligence.
• Must be able to manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
• Experience using an ATS, preferably Taleo.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills are required.
• Understand technology, technical roles and technical skills.
• Strong background and proven experience in sourcing/recruiting professionals at various levels.
• Ability to recruit for a broad, deep range of positions.
• Excellent Microsoft office skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet.
• Practical work experience within employee relations area.
• Knowledge of employment laws and practices.
WORK CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Ability to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance.
