Candidate will be responsible for managing projects related to facility improvements, facility management, event coordination, and other building operations systems.
The position requires the individual to lead, direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of projects. This role requires experience and expertise in estimating, project management procedure and methods, building systems, customer service, scheduling tools, and personnel management.
In this role, candidate will facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the solution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary.
The Candidate will have the skillset and mindset to effectively manage multiple projects with keen attention to customer service, leadership, teamwork, accountability and plan execution. Proactive approach to identify problems, opportunities, and/or issues to ensure timely action steps that yield positive results.
This candidate will play a pivotal role in a relocation project. Communication at high level and engagement with functional teams to develop, coordinate and implement strategic move plans.
Lead in-house staff and manage service partners to streamline Facility Management operations.
Manage Business Continuity and Facility Security. Work with team to identify risks and threats.
Ensure Health & Safety Compliance with local legislation.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRMENTS:
·Minimum 5 - 7 years of increasingly responsible experience, including experience successfully managing various projects.
·Strong Project Management, Architecture, Construction Methods, Facilities Management, or other related field experience.
·PC skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD.
·Strong verbal and written communication skills.
·Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering preferred.
·LEED Accreditation or experience preferred.
·SAP experience would be beneficial.
PROJECT/PRACTICE RELATED COMPETENCIES:

• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identifies resources needed and coordinates with superiors.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• LEED/ Sustainability Project Management
Project Accounting / Financial Management
• Manages project budget.
• Reviews and verifies vendor invoices.
• Follows up with internal clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
• Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and makes decisions accordingly.
• Assures project legal documents are completed and signed.
Communication
• Facilitates project meetings effectively.
• Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.
• Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
• Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Technical Understanding
• Possesses general understanding of Architecture, construction methods, facilities planning, and Project Management Skills.
• Possesses a thorough understanding of our internal resources and capabilities.
• Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies.
• PC skills to include Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD (or similar).
• LEED Accreditation preferred.
