Description
The Program Manager is responsible for program management of complex, highly visible strategic or cross functional initiatives in Consumer & Business Banking. This position will help drive business segments to increase revenue, mitigate risk and improve processes.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the overall coordination and execution of assigned programs ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Creates and maintains the full spectrum of project documentation as defined by the Project Management Methodology.
• Utilizes the project management methodology to execute approved initiatives, which include new product development, new or enhanced technology, risk mitigation or operational efficiencies.
• Provides recommendations and serves as advocate on tools, templates and processes for project management optimization.
• Serves as mentor to project team and consultant with business partners as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 7 years of experience project management and/or process engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of banking experience primarily in Consumer (Retail)
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Project Management Professional (PMP) methodologies to process improvement initiatives
• Ability to manage multiple high visibility programs simultaneously
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to present to, interact with, and communicate with all levels of Senior Leaders
• Ability to utilize MS Office Suite, Visio and MS Project required
• Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor
