As an Associate it is your responsibility to support Relationship Manager’s book of clients plan for their future through our suite of lending products. This includes monitoring new and existing loans in the pipeline, advising on additional lending opportunities, creating reports and ensuring loan packages are complete for underwriting. This is a highly collaborative and cross-functional role, interacting with many different levels and departments across the bank. Responsibilities
• Provide support for Relationship Managers (RM's) and their book of clients
• Work with Executive Managing Directors to help with the relationship management and cross-selling of Professional Loan Program clients
• Assist in managing RM's pipeline of client transactions in process, vet and complete initial analysis of new applicants and respond to dial ad hoc client requests
• Help families, individuals and businesses plan their financial futures through First Republic Bank's deposit services, lending products and wealth management services/products
• Discuss financial concerns and needs of individuals and present potential solutions using our suite of products and services
• Create and maintain client interaction reports
• Develop your professional skills and knowledge
Qualifications
Required:
• 1-2 years of work experience in banking, finance or related business field
• BA/BS degree
• Strong communication, decision-making and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-based environment
• Organized, detail-oriented and excellent time-management skills
• Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little supervision
• Ability to build relationships with a variety of different professionals and be flexible in approach/style
• Passion for extraordinary service
Preferred:
• Prior experience with or understanding of credit/lending
• Prior customer service/sales experience
• Concise communicator with the ability to credibly and compellingly present and discuss recommendations to borrowers
• High energy, team-first attitude with motivation to work hard in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
