The scope and impact of your work:
As the Director, Cyber Architecture and Threat Intelligence, you are a forward-looking leader responsible for driving the vision of the bank’s future cybersecurity state. You focus a team of architects, engineers and analysts on both the latest security technology innovations and the emerging threats they counteract. You oversee the design and implementation of security controls and ensure tight integration between Information Security and key stakeholders throughout the enterprise. The Architecture and Threat Intelligence functions include:
• Security control design in multiple areas: network, application, data, and endpoint
• Definition of security standards and patterns in strategic technology focus areas including cloud, mobile, BPO, SaaS, etc.
• Coordination between cybersecurity teams and Enterprise Architecture to facilitate an effective security architecture in business initiatives, new products, and technology solutions
• Identification, classification and reporting of existing and potential emerging threats to the company, business functions, applications and technology
• Coordination between threat intelligence functions and the Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC) to ensure continuous improvement and bidirectional issue visibility and follow-up
• Coordination between threat intelligence functions and the Cybersecurity Engagement and Awareness team to facilitate timely, relevant and accurate notification of cyber threats to appropriate stakeholder audiences
• Design and engineering of cybersecurity tools, including endpoint and network security product suites, in coordination with the CSOC and IT operations teams

2. Lead a diverse team of architects, engineers and analysts across multiple functions: security architecture, threat intelligence, and cyber engineering
3. Act as key contributor to the company’s strategic cybersecurity plan, particularly in the realms of emerging cybersecurity technology and evolving cybersecurity threats
4. Establish and maintain a culture of engagement, ownership and collaboration across teams to break down siloes and build broad-based support for cyber initiatives and continual improvement
5. Engage cross-functionally both within the Information Security division and with other key stakeholders in Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Risk, Information Technology, and diverse business and product team leaders to meet the joint requirements of effective cybersecurity controls and improved business capabilities
6. Attract, recruit and retain exceptional cybersecurity talent in the areas of architecture, engineering and threat intelligence, including development of existing team members
7. Provide cross-functional guidance, mentoring and team member development to all cyber team members (and potential future cyber team members) in the organization
8. Develop and present executive-level briefings to advise and inform diverse stakeholders on the cyber threat environment and emerging cyber technologies
9. Lead proactive preparation for audits and regulatory exams, and facilitate timely and thorough resolution of identified issues
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of cybersecurity and information technology experience, with 4+ years directly supervising the activities of others with cybersecurity responsibility Exceptional communication, collaboration and organizational management skills, including:
◦ A strong comfort level presenting to varied audiences ranging from senior executives to banking professionals to college interns
◦ Ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations that accurately and concisely convey complex technical content in a meaningful way
◦ Ability to lead multi-stakeholder discussions on sensitive topics, build consensus and influence leaders toward positive outcomes
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including experience bringing ideas from concept to execution, motivating, leading, and guiding teams through periods of growth and transition, and building productive, collaborative relationships with other functions
• Extensive technical experience in multiple cybersecurity architectural domains or functions, including but not limited to: endpoints, networks, applications, data, threat intelligence, vulnerability and patch management, identity and access, incident response, cyber resilience, digital forensics
• Conceptual understanding of cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, CASB, WAF, EDR, SIEM, DLP, DAM, UBA, etc.
• Prefer experience implementing cybersecurity controls in an enterprise utilizing DevOps, Agile, Cloud, and similar approaches and related technologies
• Prefer experience in cybersecurity and/or information technology in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, healthcare, government, etc.)
