As an Internal Sales Manager, you will have responsibility for the leadership, management and success of an internal sales team. The internal and external sales organizations support all of our distribution channels with the internal sales desk residing in both Shelton, CT and Fort Washington, PA. Ideal candidates will possess a proven track record of success in leadership and talent development. With an innovative mindset, you will create, implement and execute both new and existing sales strategies across the organization in order to achieve sales success.
Responsibilities
• Lead the coaching, development and training of a team of 12-14 internal sales professionals
• Lead and support Internal Sales Desk strategies, initiatives and projects
• Propose and implement strategies in collaboration with other internal sales desk managers and other senior sales leaders
• Represent and lead sales on various project committees and organizational programs
• Drive timely execution and consistency of sales and marketing messages
• Effectively anticipate, plan and maintain appropriate staff levels to meet the needs of our advisors
• Partner with Prudential Annuities Center for Professional Excellence on the development, design and planning of programs in order to meet the training needs of the Inbound Sales organization.
• Lead implementation of best practice sales techniques, to drive efficiencies and sales success
• Monitor and enhance the quality and productivity of sales team and leverage performance management process when necessary
• Ability to prepare and effectively deliver presentations to other stakeholders and customers

Qualifications
• Minimum of 5+ years experience in sales and with proven track record of success
• Demonstrated ability to manage and execute a business plan
• Demonstrated leadership characteristics including cultivating a team culture, building relationships, and influencing performance
• Leadership experience required
• Proven knowledge of consultative sales approach
• Excellent coaching, development and training skills
• Professional presence and proven presentation skills
• In-depth business acumen
• FINRA Series 6, 63 26 and state Life and Health license required or ability to obtain licenses within a specific time frame
• Prior management experience and a track record of increasing role responsibilities a plus
• Knowledge of the Financial Services industry and products a plus
• Advanced education (Bachelors, MBA, CFP, etc) a plus
