Reports To: Loan Operations Manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• College degree preferred
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Loan Operations/Loan Processing/Branch environment
• In-depth knowledge of Retail and Commercial loan documentation requirements. Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements.
• Experience performing quality assurance reviews of various loan operations functions
• Ability to coach and motivate employees to improve performance, efficiency and team morale
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal skills
• Exceptional organization and time management skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines
• Advanced analytical and administrative abilities, critical thinking, communication, and organization skills
• Excellent Microsoft Excel & Word skills are required along with proficient knowledge of Commercial and Consumer LAS platforms such as Fiserv and LaserPro
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings and seminars/conferences, etc.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Responsible for meeting personal production goals and assisting manager in coordinating day-to-day tasks/functions of a unit in Loan Operations. Performs complex and non-routine administrative tasks and acts as an experienced resource for team. Assist with managing day-to-day work load by prioritizing tasks/functions performed by unit, assist with resolution of procedural and technical issues. Demonstrate leadership abilities to manage small projects and potential for grooming into Management Role. May provide support to two or more teams performing two or more operations activities.
• Ensures that own work, as well as work of other employees is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines
• Responsible for ensuring loan boarding requests and/or loan maintenance requests are prepared, delivered and completed according to Bank, regulatory and investor guidelines and forward findings, reports, and documents to lender or specified loan/branch assistant
• Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely quality assurance reviews are performed on loan boarding and critical loan maintenance and original loan files are received from settlement agents and Account Officers in a timely manner to ensure that the original loan documents are retained in a satisfactory manner
• Ensures team is completing all loan boarding and loan maintenance requests in accordance to Service Level Agreements
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to Business Partner, Account Officer and external customer inquiries, requests in a timely manner with a sense of urgency and positive attitude
• Balance competing priorities and make sound business decisions within standard policy
• Adhere to Corporate policies and procedures as proscribed
• Other duties as assigned
