Description
[POSITION SUMMARY] The incumbent candidate will manage an independent Quality Assurance (QA) team responsible for reviewing Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) AML, OFAC and CTR processes and doing independent research on alternative processes. The QA Manager will be responsible for sampling, testing and reporting FIU QA results and developing operating procedures to ensure the FIU is in compliance with Policy, Procedures and Regulatory requirements. This individual is responsible for identifying issues and making recommendations for resolution. [POSITION DUTIES] A2. advises and consults with the senior management of Santander US on quality of FIU operating processes, trends and issues and determines solutions for implementation through independent decisioning.,D. Develops test plans to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.,E. Tracks and creates reports of issues identified during periodic reviews.,C. Continuously evaluates operational/production routines and systems; formulates and recommends changes to management to improve processes and create efficiencies.,B. Samples and validates the completeness and accuracy of AML/OFAC related resolutions and processes within the FIU and within business units. Develops solutions independently to take corrective actions.,A1. Directs and manages daily operations of an independent QA team consisting of QA Analysts;
Qualifications
[QUALIFICATION] Minimum of 5 years of AML or Financial crimes experience. Minimum of 2 years of AML or Financial Crimes Quality Assurance experience in a Large US Bank or related institution [EXPERIENCE] At least 5 years [SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE] Ability to gather and process statistical data in order to forecast team workflow requirements.,Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy under pressure situations.,Motivated, team-oriented, and able to work independently.,Strong PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Process Flow Creation,Strong managerial skills.,Strong verbal and written communication skills.,Technical experience with watch-list screening/monitoring filters including the tuning, calibrating and suppression.
